About the Department
The department of Costume Design and Fashion started during the year 2011 with 3 years of undergraduate programme. Department has separate laboratories with well sophisticated instruments to meet the needs of UG programme. The department provides an excellent contemporary fashion education. The course encourages individual creativity packed by a strong technical understanding .The students develop visual awareness, practical skills and knowledge in theory or design. Industrial visits are also being arranged by the department for students to acquire industry oriented prospect.

Placement
The Department has a good track record of placing students in various organizations over the years. The university has a dedicated Placement Cell that provides job-oriented training to students and coordinates their career development.
