The English Department was establish in 2011 at the great SASURIE Institution. The department was upgraded to a postgraduate department in 2014. Post Graduate students have the best advantages in that their knowledge and projects work well. Consequently, they focused on educational qualifications to attain success, even training in extracurricular activities. Here they have scope to express the explicit outcomes of their vision and mission excellence. Students can enhance their personality, and self-improvement through knowledge, envolving activity with others, responsibility, through these opportunities they can build leadership quality outside of the campus or inside of the campus. One of the best advantages is to develop fluency in spoken English that makes them sure to get opportunities wherever they go. The Department of English Language and Literature aims to strengthen the liberal education of young minds by developing a deepened understanding of language and literacy, the value of critical reading and effective writing, and the richness of literature, through creative and effective teaching. We seek to foster knowledge and a love of literature and of language in our students for a holistic acumen in global spectra.

- The Department of English was established in 2011.
- It proposes both UG and PG courses to gain experience in the array of literature and language.
- The department imparts students with mastery in the field which produced University Gold Medal (1st and 9th Rank) at the postgraduate level in 2018.
- The Theatre Society GEOWIL and JOEFRA organizes Theatrics, Mimes, Tableau shows, and skits performed by the students.
