Overview
The Department of Costume Design and Fashion came into existence in the year of 2010.
Costume design is the fabrication of apparel for the overall appearance of character or performer.
This is commonly involves creating, designing and building the actual items from conception

Sketching & Garment Designing
Draping
Historical Knowledge of textiles, Costumes & trends Prevailed,
Pattern Development
Acknowledgement of broad range of creative work to which costume design can contribute.
Project work in the final semester and industrial visits to various industries help them to become familiarized with the managerial practices.
